Body Awareness Studio offers a unique approach to Pilates Teacher Training. As a host site for Balanced Body, Pilates Teacher Trainings will prepare you to be a confident and competent Pilates instructor.  Through your training at Body Awareness, you will learn traditional exercises developed by Joseph H. Pilates, therapeutic applications based on current research in sports medicine, in addition to biomechanics.

Our training is focused on Pilates exercises and covers how to teach all levels of Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, and small apparatus.  In addition to your technical training, our courses also include basic anatomy, kinesiology, and biomechanics.  Our unique Pilates training also includes coursework in pre-Pilates exercises, postural movement analysis, polarity yoga, QiGong, energy management techniques including grounding and conscious energy movement.
