Free Body Awareness Orientation!

Have you ever looked down at your body and thought “OH MY GOD!, When did that happen?” Your next thought might be…”What am I going to do about this?”

A lot of people are turning to Pilates for many different reasons; some for toning the body, building core strength and for flexibility in sports like golf, tennis and even dance. Pilates uses a special kind of apparatus with springs that offer a unique kind of support and resistance. It reduces pain and stiffness, builds core strength, helps to correct your posture, and brings long term health benefits.

Most Pilates studios focus on physical fitness for the physical body. At Body Awareness Studio, we focus on physical, mental, and emotional fitness that uses conscious awareness to balance the nervous system. We help you train your mind to track your body physically, mentally and emotionally giving you access to the subtle sensations of tension in your body so you can self correct.

Some people shy away from Pilates because it can become pretty expensive especially Private sessions and customized small group classes. If coming 2-3 times a week, it can add up…pretty fast! People want to come more often but they can’t always afford it.

We’ve been thinking about this a lot. How can we create an affordable way for people to access and practice Pilates with guidance? At Body Awareness Studio, we’ve created an affordable program called Power Hour. A huge perk of joining the Power Hour program is that you receive access to open studio hours for your own independent, personal practice.

What exactly is Power Hour? 

It’s a one month intensive apparatus training program offered a few times a year.  Our team of instructors will train you on the apparatus and show you the essential skills you need to perform Pilates correctly, powerfully and with ease.

Who can join the Power Hour Program?

It’s for all levels of students who want to develop their personal practice, own if for themselves, become more independent and take it to the next level.

This One Month intensive Power Hour program includes:

  • 1 or 2 apparatus training sessions per week. (Choose the package that fits your budget and time)
  • 1 or more private sessions at a very reduced rate. (Your package will come with 1 private sessions, add additional privates sessions as needed at a very reduced rate)
  • Plus you get 6 Open Studio hours for independent practice. If you do 6 or more independent practice hours during that month, you will automatically win 6 free Open Studio hours for the following month.

You’ll truly learn to own your Pilates practice. You’ll see the results in the mirror and feel it from the inside out.

The next Free Body Awareness orientation classes are June 12th at 7pm and June 17th at 7am. This is a great way to learn more about the Power Hour intensive. If you’re new to Body Awareness Studio, it’s a great way to experience the foundations of Pilates… hands on!

As a movement educator for most of my career, I gotta tell ya, It feels wonderful when I see our students take what we’ve given them and use it to perform better in their every day activities.
